A heavy, high-impact slab serif with broad proportions and pronounced, blocky serifs. Strokes show clear contrast, with thick verticals and comparatively thinner joins and interior counters, creating a crisp, carved look. Serifs are squared and substantial with slight bracketing, and several joins show small cut-ins that read like subtle ink traps. Curves are generously rounded, counters are compact, and the overall rhythm is dense and dark, staying upright and stable across the alphabet and numerals.

Best suited to display settings where dense black color and strong serifs help text hold its ground: posters, titles, storefront or event signage, packaging labels, and brand marks. It also works for short, bold callouts and pull quotes where a vintage, sturdy tone is desired.

The face projects a rugged, old-time confidence with a friendly edge—part frontier poster, part retro headline. Its bold slabs and tight counters give it a punchy, no-nonsense tone, while the rounded bowls and cut-in details keep it from feeling overly severe.

Designed to deliver maximum presence with a classic slab-serif voice, balancing robust geometry with controlled contrast and small cut-in details to preserve clarity at large sizes. The overall intent reads as a poster-ready, attention-first display serif with a nostalgic, Americana-leaning flavor.

Uppercase forms feel especially monumental, while lowercase keeps the same weighty color and compact spacing, making paragraphs quickly turn into strong texture rather than airy reading copy. Numerals match the heavy set and carry the same slabbed terminals, supporting attention-grabbing uses where numbers must be noticed.
