A heavy slab-serif with broad proportions and a strongly inked, high-impact silhouette. Strokes alternate between thick verticals and noticeably thinner joins, creating a crisp, high-contrast rhythm for a slab design. Serifs are square and prominent with slight bracketing, and the curves (C, G, O, S) are full and rounded with tight inner counters. Lowercase forms are robust and compact, with short ascenders/descenders and generally closed apertures, while figures are similarly weighty and built for emphasis.

Best suited to display settings where a strong, condensed block of text is desirable: headlines, titles, posters, and bold branding applications. It can work well for packaging and label-style typography, as well as sports or collegiate identity systems that benefit from hefty slabs and a traditional, authoritative tone.

The overall tone is sturdy and assertive, with a vintage, print-forward feel reminiscent of headlines, posters, and institutional or collegiate typography. Its density and strong slabs give it a confident, no-nonsense voice that reads as bold and traditional rather than delicate or playful.

The design appears intended as a practical, workhorse slab-serif optimized for loud, confident display typography, balancing familiar, traditional construction with enough contrast and firmness to stay crisp at large sizes.

Spacing appears on the tight side at display sizes, which amplifies the dark typographic color and makes the font feel compact and forceful. Some joins and terminals show small notches that read like subtle ink-trap behavior, helping maintain clarity where heavy strokes meet. The letterforms prioritize impact and uniform presence over openness, especially in smaller counters.
