This serif shows sturdy, slightly uneven letterforms with a distinctly angular, faceted construction. Curves are often rendered as softened polygons, giving counters (notably in O/C/G and the lowercase rounds) a chiseled, hand-cut feel. Serifs are small and wedge-like rather than flat slabs, and terminals frequently end in pointed or beveled tips. Stroke modulation is present but not dramatic, with subtle thick–thin shifts and occasional irregularities that add texture and a crafted rhythm across words.

It suits display and short-to-medium text where a handcrafted, antique voice is desired—book covers, editorial headlines, posters, labels, and themed signage. It can also work for pull quotes or chapter openers where a distinctive texture is beneficial, especially at sizes that let the angular details remain clear.

The overall tone feels rustic and old-world, like printed matter made from hand-drawn or engraved forms. Its lively irregularity reads personable and slightly theatrical, lending a storybook or folkloric atmosphere rather than a strictly formal one.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional, humanist serif writing and early printing while introducing a deliberately handwrought, carved edge. Its faceted curves and wedge terminals suggest an effort to blend calligraphic warmth with an engraved, artisanal finish for characterful readability.

Spacing appears generous and the rhythm is intentionally uneven in small details (joins, corners, and terminal shapes), which contributes to its character. The numerals share the same faceted logic, looking sturdy and slightly quirky, and the punctuation in the sample text maintains the same angular, inked texture.
