A high-contrast serif with strong vertical stems and extremely fine hairlines, creating a crisp, engraved-looking texture. Serifs are thin and sharp with minimal bracketing, and curves transition quickly from thick to thin, reinforcing a pronounced vertical stress. Capitals feel stately and compact in their internal spaces, while the lowercase shows a relatively tall x-height and sturdy verticals; joins and bowls are tightly drawn for a firm, decisive rhythm. Numerals are similarly contrasty and bold-shouldered, reading best when given ample size and spacing.

Best suited to display typography—headlines, magazine titles, pull quotes, and brand wordmarks—where its contrast and sharp finishing can be appreciated. It can work for short subheads and packaging text when set with generous tracking and comfortable line spacing, but it is less ideal for long passages at small sizes due to delicate hairlines and compact internal spaces.

The overall tone is sophisticated and assertive, with a fashion-and-editorial polish. Its dramatic contrast and precise details convey formality and prestige, leaning toward a refined, high-end voice rather than casual friendliness.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary high-contrast serif for impactful display use, combining classic proportions with crisp, minimally bracketed detailing to achieve a premium, editorial look.

In dense settings the hairlines and tight counters can visually close up, while at display sizes the razor-thin serifs and strong thick–thin modulation become a defining feature. The design maintains a consistent vertical emphasis across rounds and straights, producing a clean, modernized classical impression.
