A very heavy, high-contrast serif with a broad stance and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Serifs are sharply tapered and often triangular, with a mixture of crisp bracketed joins and pointed, wedge-like terminals. Many lowercase forms show soft, teardrop and ball terminals (notably in r, a, c, f), and several letters have sculpted interior cut-ins that create a chiseled, calligraphic rhythm. Uppercase shapes read stately and compact in their counters, while the lowercase introduces more idiosyncratic curves and hooked details, giving the overall texture a lively, carved look in display sizes.

Best suited to headlines, cover lines, and short blocks of text where its high contrast and strong serifs can stay crisp. It works well for fashion/editorial layouts, premium packaging, and identity systems that want a classic serif voice with extra punch and character.

The tone is bold and ceremonial, combining traditional bookish authority with a slightly theatrical, vintage flair. Its strong contrast and expressive terminals lend a sense of drama and craftsmanship, making it feel premium and attention-seeking rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation pushed toward display impact: enlarged proportions, intensified contrast, and expressive terminals that add distinctiveness without departing from familiar serif structure.

The italics are not present; the upright roman shows a slightly calligraphic stress in rounded letters and prominent ink-trap-like notches in places, which increases sparkle at large sizes. Numerals share the same high-contrast, sculpted construction and read best when given room, reinforcing a display-forward personality.
