This serif has a lively, calligraphy-inflected skeleton with noticeable stroke modulation and softly bracketed, flared serifs. Curves and terminals show slight irregularity and tapering, creating an inked, hand-cut feel rather than a rigidly geometric construction. Proportions are warm and human, with moderate apertures and a gently uneven rhythm across the alphabet; diagonals and joints often swell then taper, and some strokes finish in subtly hooked or pointed terminals. Figures and capitals carry the same high-contrast, slightly cantilevered energy, producing a varied, animated color in text.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where personality is desirable: book and chapter titles, editorial headlines, posters, menus, and packaging. It can also work for pull quotes or introductory text, but its animated rhythm and contrast will be most effective when given enough size and spacing to breathe.

The overall tone feels antique and literary, with a touch of whimsy—more fable and folktale than formal editorial. Its animated terminals and uneven cadence give it a personable, slightly mischievous voice that reads as crafted and expressive.

The design appears intended to evoke an old-style, humanist serif with a hand-inked character—balancing classic forms with expressive terminals and varied stroke behavior. It aims for warmth and narrative charm rather than strict typographic neutrality.

In longer samples the texture is dynamic, with conspicuous contrast and occasional sharp joins that add sparkle at display sizes. The italic is not present here, but the roman already carries a gentle, calligraphic movement that can make lines feel energetic and slightly irregular.
