A heavy, block-like slab serif with broad, squared letterforms and substantial, bracketed serifs. Strokes are mostly even with subtly modulated joins, creating a dense, stable texture and a strong baseline. Counters are relatively tight and the apertures are conservative, while terminals stay flat and decisive. The lowercase shows a robust, readable build with a double-storey “g” and sturdy, rectangular shoulders, and the figures match the same weighty, poster-forward presence.

Best suited to headlines, posters, and display settings where strong presence and quick recognition are key. It can also work well for branding, packaging, labels, and signage that benefit from a solid, heritage-leaning slab serif voice. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable with generous size and line spacing due to its dense texture.

The overall tone feels bold and dependable, with a vintage, workmanlike character reminiscent of traditional print and signage. Its mass and firm serifs project authority and familiarity, lending a collegiate or heritage flavor without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a classic slab-serif foundation, combining sturdy shapes and firm serifs for assertive, no-nonsense display typography. It emphasizes legibility at large sizes while maintaining a cohesive, traditional print feel.

Spacing appears compact in running text, producing a dark, continuous typographic color that favors impact over airiness. The rounded joins and slight bracketing soften the otherwise squared geometry, helping large sizes feel less rigid.
