A lightly built serif with noticeable stroke modulation and a calm, upright stance. Serifs are fine and mostly bracketed, with subtly flared terminals and a gently irregular, inked edge that reads like letterpress or pen-influenced drawing rather than rigid geometry. Counters are open and round, curves transition smoothly into stems, and spacing feels airy, giving the line a relaxed rhythm. Lowercase proportions favor a modest x-height with relatively prominent ascenders and descenders, supporting an elegant, traditional texture in paragraphs.

Well suited to long-form reading such as books, essays, and editorial layouts where a classic serif voice is desired. It can also serve nicely on covers, headings, and cultural or heritage branding when a traditional, crafted impression is beneficial. For packaging and invitations, it brings a refined, old-world character without relying on heavy ornament.

The overall tone is literary and antique, evoking printed books, editorial tradition, and historically rooted typography. Its slight roughness and calligraphic cues add warmth and human presence without becoming overtly decorative. It feels measured and cultured—suited to content that wants to sound established and thoughtful.

The design appears intended to capture an old-style, humanist reading experience with visible calligraphic influence and a subtly tactile finish. It aims for elegance and familiarity in continuous text while retaining enough personality in terminals and contrast to stand out in display sizes.

In running text, the font maintains an even color despite the high contrast, helped by generous sidebearings and rounded interior spaces. Capitals are refined and restrained, and the numerals appear old-style in spirit, with varying heights and a text-friendly presence. The mild irregularity at joins and terminals contributes to a tactile, printed feel.
