A heavy, block-constructed slab serif with crisp right angles and square-ended terminals. Strokes read largely uniform in thickness, with short, sturdy slab serifs and occasional wedge-like notches that create a carved, mechanical rhythm. Counters tend to be rectangular and tight, giving the letters a compact, high-impact silhouette; curves are minimized or faceted into polygonal forms. The lowercase mirrors the uppercase’s rigid geometry, and numerals follow the same squared, sign-painting logic with firm corners and strong horizontal emphasis.

Best suited to headlines, posters, labels, and display settings where strong silhouettes matter more than subtle detail. It can work well for branding, packaging, and signage that aims for a tough, old-time or industrial voice, and it’s most effective at medium-to-large sizes.

The overall tone feels rugged and assertive, with a vintage, frontier-meets-factory character. Its sharp corners and blunt slabs suggest utilitarian signage and stamped or cut lettering, projecting toughness and straightforwardness rather than refinement.

The font appears designed to deliver a sturdy, square-serif display look with a chiseled, engineered edge. Its simplified geometry and emphatic terminals prioritize impact and recognizability, echoing historical sign lettering and bold print traditions while maintaining a consistent, constructed system across cases and figures.

The design’s frequent right-angle joins and small corner cuts produce a slightly “tooled” texture that becomes more noticeable in longer text. The bold massing and tight internal spaces make it read best when given room (larger sizes or generous tracking) to avoid counters filling in visually.
