A lively text serif with noticeable stroke modulation and slightly uneven, hand-touched contours. Serifs are predominantly bracketed with tapered, wedge-like terminals, and curves show a subtle brush/pen-like swelling rather than rigid geometry. Capitals feel sturdy and slightly irregular in rhythm, while the lowercase has compact bodies, small counters, and a pronounced, traditional texture in running text. Overall spacing and letterfit create a dark, ink-on-paper color with crisp edges and occasional roughness that reads as deliberate character rather than noise.

Well-suited for editorial typography, book interiors, and literary branding where a traditional serif texture is desirable. It can also serve in packaging or identity work that benefits from a historic, artisanal feel, and it holds up for headlines and pull quotes where its distinctive stroke endings and lively rhythm become a feature.

The face projects an old-world, bookish tone with a crafted, slightly rugged finish. Its calligraphic energy and textured strokes evoke traditional printing and historical documents, giving copy a warm, human presence instead of a polished, corporate neutrality.

The design appears intended to capture the warmth of old-style letterforms with a visibly hand-influenced stroke, balancing readability with a deliberately imperfect, inked character. It aims to provide a classic serif voice that feels organic and human in both short passages and prominent titles.

The sample text shows strong typographic color at larger sizes, with distinctive shapes in letters like Q and g that add personality. The numerals and punctuation match the same calligraphic modulation, supporting a cohesive, period-leaning voice in display and text settings.
