A heavy, blackletter-inspired display face with sharp, broken contours and uneven stroke edges that feel hand-carved or ink-worn. The letterforms are compact and angular, with pointed terminals, faceted curves, and a rhythm of vertical stems that gives the text a dense, textured color. Many glyphs include irregular interior knockouts and notches that create a hollowed, chipped look rather than clean counters. Spacing and silhouette vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an intentionally rough, artisanal finish.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings where texture is an asset—posters, title treatments, album artwork, event flyers, and thematic branding. It can work for logotypes and packaging that want a medieval or sinister flavor, but the distressed cutouts and dense color make it less appropriate for small sizes or long passages.

The overall tone is dark and theatrical, leaning toward medieval and occult associations. Its jagged cuts and internal voids suggest age, abrasion, and handcrafted craft, giving headlines a dramatic, slightly menacing presence.

The design appears intended to reinterpret blackletter structure with a deliberately eroded, hollowed surface—combining bold, high-contrast silhouettes with irregular internal cutouts to create a rough, carved-display effect.

In running text the face produces a lively, uneven texture: counters can appear partially closed by cut-ins, and rounded letters (like O/Q) read as carved rings with broken interior openings. Numerals follow the same rugged, cutout treatment, keeping the set visually consistent.
