A heavy slab-serif with broad, squared proportions and a compact internal rhythm. Strokes are thick and largely geometric, with clearly defined slab terminals that read as slightly bracketed rather than razor-sharp. Counters are relatively tight, giving the design a dense, poster-ready color, while curves stay controlled and sturdy. The lowercase shows a two-storey “g” and other traditional text cues, but the overall construction remains emphatically block-like, with strong horizontals and a consistent, workmanlike texture.

Best suited to headlines, display typography, posters, and packaging where a strong, vintage-leaning slab presence is desirable. It can also work for logos, badges, and signage that benefit from a sturdy, high-impact texture. In longer passages it’s more comfortable when set large with ample spacing, where its bold color remains readable without feeling cramped.

The tone is bold and declarative, leaning toward vintage and utilitarian rather than delicate or refined. Its chunky slabs and tight counters evoke classic print and signage traditions, with a hint of collegiate and industrial character. Overall it feels authoritative and energetic, built to command attention.

The design appears intended as a forceful display slab that balances traditional serif cues with modern, blocky construction. It prioritizes visual authority and immediate legibility at large sizes, delivering a classic print-and-poster flavor with a durable, no-nonsense stance.

The numerals and capitals appear especially robust, with prominent serifs that help anchor lines and create a strong baseline. At larger sizes the dense weight and compact counters enhance impact; at smaller sizes the tight openings may require generous tracking or leading to maintain clarity.
