This is a sculpted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, wedge-like serifs that often flare out from the stems. Curves are full and rounded, while joins and terminals show a subtly calligraphic tension, producing a confident, chiseled silhouette. Capitals feel sturdy and slightly condensed in their internal spaces, and the lowercase maintains clear, traditional proportions with a compact, rhythmic texture. Numerals and punctuation carry the same high-contrast, flared finishing, reading cleanly at display sizes with strong color on the page.

Well-suited to headlines, magazine and newspaper display, book jackets and titles, and brand wordmarks that need a traditional but striking serif voice. It performs best where the contrast and flared serifs can be appreciated—larger text sizes, pull quotes, and cover typography—while still being structured enough for shorter passages.

The overall tone is traditional and authoritative, with a bookish, editorial character that suggests heritage and gravitas. The sharp, flared endings add a touch of drama, making the voice feel confident and slightly ceremonial rather than casual.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif proportions with more emphatic, flared stroke endings for added impact. It aims for a refined, print-oriented presence that feels timeless, with enough sculptural detail to stand out in display and editorial contexts.

Pointed diagonals (notably in V/W/X/Y) and the strong contrast give the font a crisp, high-impact presence, while the bracketed, flared serifs keep it from feeling mechanical. In dense settings it builds a dark, even typographic color, and in larger sizes the terminal shapes and stroke modulation become a key part of its personality.
