A heavy, block-built slab serif with squared, mostly octagonal contours and flat terminals. Strokes are consistently thick, with sharp inner corners, cut-in notches, and chamfered joins that give counters a faceted look. The lowercase is compact and sturdy, with short, squared serifs and a tight rhythm; bowls and shoulders tend toward rectangular forms rather than round. Numerals follow the same chiseled construction, producing an even, poster-like texture at large sizes and dense color in text settings.

Best suited to display work where its strong slabs and faceted geometry can read clearly—posters, mastheads, event graphics, team or varsity-style branding, and bold packaging labels. It can also work for short blocks of text at larger sizes where a dense, rugged texture is desired.

The face projects a tough, no-nonsense tone associated with workwear, athletic lettering, and vintage display typography. Its angular cuts and heavy slabs feel mechanical and confident, leaning more utilitarian than elegant. Overall it reads as bold, emphatic, and slightly nostalgic.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through a simplified, monolithic construction and squared slab details. Its faceted cuts and compact proportions suggest a goal of evoking traditional block lettering while remaining clean, consistent, and highly legible at headline sizes.

Distinctive chamfers appear on many corners (notably in C, G, O, and the diagonal letters), helping maintain crisp definition at large sizes. Several forms have intentionally narrow apertures and small counters (for example in e, a, and s), which increases visual weight and reinforces the compact, sign-painting/letterpress vibe.
