A lively old-style serif with bracketed serifs, softly flared terminals, and moderate stroke modulation that reads as pen-influenced rather than mechanical. The outlines have an intentionally irregular, slightly roughened edge, giving the letterforms a printed/hand-inked texture while keeping a consistent baseline and overall rhythm. Counters are open and rounded, joins are gently tapered, and the capitals feel sturdy and traditional with subtly varied stroke endings. Numerals and lowercase follow the same textured construction, producing an uneven-but-controlled color across lines of text.

Well-suited to editorial and book-like typography where a traditional serif voice is desired with added tactility. It can also work for packaging, certificates, menus, and heritage-flavored branding, and it scales nicely into headlines where the textured edges and distinctive capital shapes become part of the visual identity.

The font projects a classic, bookish tone with a human touch—traditional and literary, yet not overly formal. Its slight roughness adds warmth and craft, suggesting letterpress or hand-set type without becoming distressed to the point of novelty.

The design appears aimed at delivering an approachable old-style reading face with visible craft—preserving familiar serif proportions and calligraphic modulation while introducing a subtly worn, inked texture for warmth and personality.

In the text sample, the texture becomes more apparent at larger sizes, where small edge wobble and ink-like swelling contribute to character. The Q’s long, sweeping tail is a notable display-friendly detail, and overall spacing appears comfortable for paragraph setting while retaining a lively, slightly rustic presence.
