A very heavy, high-contrast display serif with pronounced flared stroke endings and wedge-like serifs that read as sharply cut rather than slabbed. The letterforms show compact counters and relatively tight apertures, with crisp, triangular notches and pointed joins that create a chiseled, engraved feel. Rounds (C, O, G, 8, 9) are robust and slightly condensed in their internal space, while verticals dominate the texture; diagonals (V, W, Y) are strong and faceted. Lowercase forms are weighty with a sturdy rhythm, and details like the ball on the j and the assertive ear on the g add distinctive, ornamental punctuation to the silhouette.

Best suited to headlines and short-form typography where its strong contrast and chiseled serifs can read clearly and add personality. It works well for posters, book and album covers, packaging, and brand marks that aim for a classic-yet-dramatic editorial tone.

The font projects a confident, old-world seriousness with a dramatic, poster-ready presence. Its sharp wedge details and compact interior shapes give it a carved, heraldic tone that feels formal and slightly theatrical rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, engraved display look—combining traditional serif structure with flared, wedge-like endings to produce a distinctive, authoritative texture at large sizes.

In text settings the dense color and narrow openings create a forceful, blocky rhythm, making the design feel most comfortable at larger sizes. The figures are bold and attention-grabbing, with curved forms that echo the same faceted, flared finishing seen in the letters.
