A heavy, high-contrast display serif with blackletter-leaning construction and sharply flared terminals. Strokes swell into broad, rounded bowls and then snap into narrow joins, producing a distinctly cut, chiseled rhythm. Many letters show subtle irregularities—nicks, bite-like notches, and uneven inner counters—that read like worn printing or deliberately distressed outlines rather than clean geometry. The lowercase is compact and sturdy with short extenders and occasional teardrop-like terminals, while capitals are tall and assertive with decorative spur details and slightly varying sidebearings.

Best suited to short-to-medium display settings where its texture and sharp terminals can be appreciated—titles, chapter headers, posters, game/fantasy branding, themed event graphics, and retro-styled packaging. It can work for brief emphatic text in larger sizes, but the distressed counters and ornate spurs may reduce clarity in long passages or at small sizes.

The overall tone is gothic and theatrical, mixing medieval/old-world cues with a playful, storybook edge. The distressed details add grit and age, suggesting haunted signage, fantasy titles, or folklore packaging rather than a pristine editorial voice.

The design appears intended to evoke an antiquated, gothic atmosphere with a deliberately worn print feel, while staying bold and readable enough for modern display use. It balances decorative blackletter-inspired cues with simplified, rounded structure to keep words legible in headlines.

Texture is consistent across the set, with distress showing up most clearly in interior counters (notably rounded letters and figures) and at terminal edges. Numerals are bold and stylized to match the letterforms, with round forms carrying the same internal roughness, helping the font keep a unified, poster-like presence in mixed copy.
