A high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress, thick main stems, and very thin hairlines that sharpen into crisp, minimally bracketed serifs. The forms are compact in their inner counters and show slightly sculpted terminals that read a touch “inked,” with occasional notches and pinched joins where thick-to-thin transitions meet. Curves are robust and smooth, while crossbars and diagonals stay slender, producing a strong light–dark rhythm. Spacing and widths vary noticeably by letter, giving the set a lively, display-oriented texture rather than a strictly uniform, text-face regularity.

Best suited to headlines, titles, posters, and book-cover typography where its contrast and strong serifs can be appreciated at larger sizes. It can work for editorial display applications such as magazine openers or pull quotes, and for branding that wants a classic yet forceful voice.

The overall tone is bold and commanding, with a classic print sensibility that feels theatrical and attention-seeking. The sharp hairlines and decisive serifs add a refined, editorial flavor, while the slightly rugged, inked details keep it from feeling overly pristine.

The design appears intended as a high-impact serif for display use, combining traditional vertical-stress proportions with exaggerated contrast and crisp detailing to create a confident, print-forward presence.

The numerals are heavy and emphatic, matching the uppercase’s presence, and the lowercase maintains a sturdy, readable silhouette with compact apertures. In continuous text the contrast creates sparkle, and the fine connections and tight counters suggest it will look best when given room (size and leading) to avoid filling in.
