A heavy, all-caps-friendly display face with irregular, torn-looking outer contours and subtly uneven stroke thickness. The letterforms keep fairly traditional, readable skeletons, but their edges are aggressively notched and scabbed, creating a coarse silhouette that looks chipped or eroded. Counters are generally open and simple, while terminals end bluntly with rough breakage rather than clean cuts. Spacing feels moderately tight in text, with a dense, punchy texture that stays consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals.

Best suited for short, prominent text where texture is part of the message: horror and thriller posters, Halloween promotions, game or movie titling, album covers, and gritty event flyers. It can also work for logos or packaging that want a distressed, ominous voice, especially when set large with some breathing room.

The overall tone is ominous and gritty, evoking weathered signage, horror titling, or something printed under harsh conditions. Its rough perimeter and dark massing give it an anxious, uneasy presence while remaining legible at headline sizes.

The design appears intended to merge familiar, readable letter shapes with a deliberately degraded surface, using ragged edges and heavy black shapes to create instant atmosphere. It prioritizes impact and mood over neutrality, delivering a strong thematic signal in a single line of type.

Uppercase and lowercase share a closely related construction, so mixed-case settings read with a uniform, poster-like authority. The distressed edge treatment is consistent across the set, producing strong silhouettes that can start to fill in or clump visually at smaller sizes or in long passages.
