A high-contrast serif with robust vertical stems, hairline horizontals, and sharply tapered wedge serifs. The letterforms show a distinctly calligraphic modulation, with frequent teardrop/ball terminals (notably in curves and some lowercase joins) that add a sculpted, ink-trap-like sparkle at display sizes. Proportions are moderately wide with generous counters in round letters, while diagonals and joins are crisp and clean, giving the face a confident, carved look. Numerals follow the same logic, mixing strong main strokes with fine entry/exit strokes and pronounced terminals.

Best suited to headlines, magazine and editorial typography, and other display-forward applications where contrast and terminals can be appreciated. It can also work for short passages such as pull quotes, chapter openers, and refined branding when given ample size and comfortable spacing.

The overall tone is assertive and refined, pairing classical bookish manners with a more theatrical, high-fashion edge. Its sharp contrast and emphatic terminals create a sense of drama and ceremony, making the text feel curated rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and expressive terminals for a more glamorous, attention-grabbing voice. It aims to read as traditional and authoritative while adding a distinctive, stylized finish for contemporary display use.

In longer sample lines the strong contrast produces a lively rhythm, with hairlines flashing between heavier verticals; this can read as elegant at larger sizes but visually busy when set too small or too tight. The presence of conspicuous ball/teardrop terminals lends a slightly ornamental character that distinguishes it from more restrained oldstyle serifs.
