A heavy, block-built slab serif with squared curves, clipped corners, and flat terminals that create a stamped, poster-like silhouette. Strokes are consistently thick with minimal modulation, and counters are tight and boxy, emphasizing solidity over delicacy. Many joins and inner corners show small notch-like cut-ins that read as ink-trap-inspired detailing, giving the shapes extra bite at small sizes and in dense settings. The lowercase is compact and sturdy, with a single-storey “a” and a simple, chunky “g,” while figures are equally square and bold with clear, sign-ready forms.

Best suited to display roles where impact and texture are assets: posters, headlines, storefront-style signage, product labels, and packaging. It can also work for short bursts of text in editorial callouts or branding when a bold, retro-industrial voice is desired, but extended reading in small sizes may feel dense due to the heavy color and tight counters.

The overall tone feels frontier and workwear-inspired—confident, loud, and a little mischievous. Its squared slabs and notched detailing suggest letterpress, wood type, and stamped graphics, creating an approachable retro grit rather than refined elegance.

The design appears aimed at delivering maximum presence with a squared slab framework and added corner cut-ins that evoke classic printing and stamped signage. It prioritizes recognizability, punch, and a distinctive surface texture over neutral readability.

Spacing appears intentionally tight in text, producing a strong dark color and a cohesive block of type. The distinctive notches at corners and joins become a defining texture across words, especially in repeated verticals and diagonals, which enhances a crafted, print-like character.
