A high-contrast serif with strongly modulated strokes, thick verticals, and hairline connections that create a crisp black-and-white rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and flare into sharp, slightly triangular terminals, with frequent teardrop and ball-like finishing on joins and curves. The letterforms are compact in their counters but expansive in their overall stance, giving capitals a stately presence and lowercase a lively, calligraphic snap in details like the ear of the g and the curved terminals on f, j, and r. Numerals are similarly weighty and sculpted, with pronounced thick–thin transitions and distinctive, angled endings that read clearly at display sizes.

Well suited to headlines, deck typography, pull quotes, and cover treatments where strong contrast and sculpted serifs can carry a premium tone. It can also work for short-form editorial or packaging copy when set with comfortable tracking and adequate size to preserve the fine hairlines and intricate terminals.

The font conveys a traditional, editorial seriousness with a touch of theatrical drama from its sharp terminals and high-contrast stress. It feels confident and refined, leaning toward classic print typography while remaining energetic and attention-grabbing in larger settings.

The design intent appears to be a contemporary take on conventional text serifs, emphasizing dramatic contrast and distinctive terminal shaping for strong display impact while retaining familiar serif structures for readability and typographic credibility.

Spacing appears generously set in the sample text, helping the dense, dark forms avoid clogging despite small counters and tight internal spaces. The design’s delicate hairlines and pointed details suggest best results when reproduced cleanly, where contrast and terminal shapes can remain intact.
