A heavy, slab-serif design with broad proportions and strongly bracketed, rectangular serifs. Strokes show clear, controlled contrast for a slab style, with softened joins and subtly cupped terminals that keep the dense weight from feeling brittle. Counters are moderately open and the curves are full and round, while diagonals (V/W/X/Y) stay robust and evenly weighted. The lowercase is compact and sturdy, with single-storey forms (notably a and g) and a distinctly hooked, descending j that adds character in text.

Best suited to display typography where strong presence is needed, such as headlines, posters, logos, packaging, and signage. It can also work for short blocks of text when a dense, attention-grabbing texture is desirable, though its heavy color will dominate at smaller sizes.

The overall tone is bold and dependable, with a vintage, workmanlike flavor that nods to classic poster and collegiate signage. Its chunky slabs and rounded detailing convey confidence and warmth rather than sharp precision, making it feel friendly but assertive.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a traditional slab-serif voice—combining sturdy, sign-painter-like shapes with softened detailing for approachable readability. It emphasizes strong silhouettes and a consistent, poster-ready rhythm for bold editorial and identity use.

In the text sample, the weight produces a dark, impactful color and the slab serifs create a strong horizontal rhythm. The numerals match the letterforms with similarly solid construction and rounded interiors, supporting consistent emphasis in headings and display settings.
