A heavy, block-constructed slab serif with broad proportions and a strong rectangular skeleton. Strokes are thick with modest, visible contrast and firmly planted, squared slabs that read as slightly bracketed. Terminals are mostly flat and horizontal, and many joins show small triangular notches/ink-trap-like cuts that sharpen corners and add a carved, stencil-adjacent flavor. Counters are relatively tight, giving the letters a dense, high-impact texture; round forms (O, Q, 0) are wide and weighty with sturdy interior space, while diagonals (V, W, X, Y) are robust and emphatic. Figures are equally bold and squat, matching the caps in color and presence.

Best suited to display applications where a loud, durable voice is needed—headlines, posters, storefront or event signage, branding marks, and bold packaging. It can also work for short blocks of copy when set with generous tracking and leading, but its dense weight and tight counters are most effective in titles and callouts.

The overall tone is confident and punchy, evoking classic display typography associated with western posters, varsity/collegiate graphics, and bold headline work. Its dense color and slab structure communicate strength and solidity, with the notched detailing adding a slightly rugged, workmanlike character.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through broad, slabbed forms and compact counters, while the notched corner detailing adds character and helps keep heavy joins from visually clogging. Overall it aims for a timeless, poster-ready presence with a rugged edge.

In the sample text the face maintains a consistent, dark typographic color and a strong baseline, making it especially attention-grabbing at larger sizes. The lowercase remains sturdy and compact, with short-looking extenders and a straightforward, un-fussy rhythm that favors impact over delicacy.
