A heavy, display-oriented slab serif with broad proportions and strongly bracketed, blocky serifs. Strokes are thick with noticeable modulation, and terminals often show chiseled, wedge-like cuts that create a slightly irregular, poster-printed feel. Counters are compact and the overall rhythm is lively, with subtle asymmetries and varying internal angles that keep the texture from feeling mechanical. The lowercase is stout with rounded bowls and sturdy stems, and the figures match the same chunky, high-impact construction.

Best suited to large-scale applications where its heavy slabs and lively details can be appreciated—headlines, poster typography, bold branding, packaging labels, and signage. It can also work for short bursts of text (taglines, pull quotes) when a nostalgic, showy tone is desired.

The font projects a bold, showbill personality with a playful, old-time flavor. Its chunky slabs and carved-looking details evoke Western signage and circus or fairground posters, balancing toughness with a friendly, slightly mischievous warmth.

Designed to deliver maximum impact with a classic showbill/Woodtype-inspired voice: wide, sturdy letterforms, prominent slabs, and carved details that create a distinctive texture and an instantly recognizable display presence.

In running text, the dense color and tight counters make it feel intentionally attention-grabbing rather than quiet or bookish. The chiseled cuts in joins and terminals can read like ink-trap-like notches at smaller sizes, adding grit and character.
