This typeface presents a forceful, high-contrast serif construction with pronounced wedge-like serifs and flared stroke endings. Vertical stems dominate, swelling into angular terminals, while hairlines are kept thin and crisp, producing strong light–dark modulation. Counters are compact and the joins are deep, giving letters a sculpted, chiseled silhouette; diagonals and vertexes (as in V, W, X, Y) resolve into sharp points with triangular cut-ins. The lowercase follows the same heavy, flared logic with compact apertures and sturdy bowls, and the numerals share the same sharp, wedge-ended detailing for a cohesive texture in mixed settings.

Best suited to display typography where its contrast and flared wedge serifs can be appreciated—headlines, posters, magazine mastheads, and book or album covers. It can also add a premium, traditional bite to branding and packaging when used sparingly and with generous tracking or leading.

The overall tone is commanding and ceremonial, with a classic, editorial flavor. Its sharp wedges and stark contrast evoke traditional print authority while also feeling theatrical and attention-grabbing, lending a sense of gravitas and proclamation to headings and short statements.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through dramatic contrast and emphatic, flared serif detailing, offering a classic-but-bold voice for display-driven composition. It prioritizes distinctive silhouette and typographic color over neutrality, making it well suited to commanding editorial and branding moments.

In text, the spacing and heavy black shapes create a dense, rhythmic color that reads best when allowed room to breathe. The pronounced triangular notches and pointed terminals become a distinctive signature at display sizes, especially in capitals and in letters with diagonal structure.
