A heavy slab serif with broad proportions and compact internal counters. The serifs are prominent and mostly rectangular with subtle bracketing, giving the letterforms a carved, built-up feel. Strokes are largely even with mild modulation and rounded joins in places, while terminals tend toward squared-off cuts. Curves are generous but tightly enclosed (notably in O, C, e, and g), producing a dense, high-impact texture in text. The lowercase shows straightforward, workmanlike shapes with a single-storey g, a sturdy t, and a compact, legible set of figures.

Best suited to headlines, posters, and large-format messaging where its dense, sturdy shapes can deliver impact. It also works well for sports branding, product packaging, and signage that needs a confident, attention-grabbing tone. For extended text, it is likely most effective in short bursts such as decks, pull quotes, or labels rather than long paragraphs.

The font projects a strong, no-nonsense voice that reads as assertive and dependable. Its bold slabs and compact counters evoke classic American display typography—sports, posters, and vintage editorial headlines—while remaining clean enough to feel contemporary when set tightly.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence with a classic slab-serif structure: strong verticals, emphatic slabs, and compact counters that create a bold, unified texture. It prioritizes headline authority and visual punch while maintaining familiar, conventional letterforms for quick recognition.

In longer samples the weight and tight apertures create a dark typographic color, so spacing and line length become important for readability. The wide stance and emphatic serifs help it hold up well at large sizes, where the geometry and slab rhythm become a defining visual feature.
