A high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress, combining thick, weighty stems with very fine hairlines and sharp, minimally bracketed serifs. Proportions are broad and confident, with spacious counters and a wide stance that keeps the dense weight from feeling cramped. Terminals are crisp and flat where appropriate, with occasional curved entry/exit strokes that add a slightly calligraphic edge. The overall rhythm is emphatic and sculpted, producing strong black shapes in the heaviest strokes and delicate, near-threadlike connections in the thins.

Best used for display typography such as headlines, magazine nameplates, poster titles, and brand marks where dramatic contrast can be appreciated. It can also support premium packaging and editorial pull quotes, especially in larger sizes where the fine hairlines remain visible.

The tone is commanding and theatrical, evoking classic luxury and old-style editorial authority. Its contrast and width create a sense of grandeur and ceremony, suited to statements that should feel deliberate and high-impact rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-contrast serif look with maximal impact: wide, authoritative letterforms paired with delicate hairlines for elegance. It prioritizes presence and stylistic sophistication over neutrality, aiming at premium and editorial applications.

In text settings the extremely thin hairlines can visually recede compared to the bold main strokes, making the design feel particularly punchy at larger sizes. Numerals and capitals read especially forcefully thanks to broad proportions and sturdy verticals, while the lowercase maintains a traditional serif texture with prominent serifs and clear stroke modulation.
