A heavy, high-presence slab serif with blocky proportions and strongly bracketed serifs that read as squared yet slightly softened at the joins. Strokes show noticeable thick–thin modulation, especially in curved forms, while horizontals and serifs stay broad and stable, creating a grounded rhythm. Counters are compact and the overall spacing feels firm and deliberate, with sturdy stems and rounded interior shapes that keep the texture from becoming brittle. Numerals and capitals share the same robust, poster-like color, producing a dense, even typographic mass in text.

Best suited to headlines, display typography, and short blocks of emphatic text where its dense color and slab serifs can carry the composition. It can also work for branding, packaging, and editorial titling that needs a classic, dependable voice with strong contrast and presence.

The overall tone is authoritative and traditional, with a collegiate or newspaper-headline sensibility. Its weight and slab structure convey reliability and blunt confidence, while the moderated contrast and softened joins add a slightly nostalgic, printed feel rather than a purely industrial one.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, traditional slab-serif look that stays readable while projecting weight and authority. Its combination of sturdy slabs, bracketed joins, and controlled contrast suggests a focus on impactful display use with a familiar, print-rooted character.

Curves (notably in C, G, O, S, and 8) are generously rounded, balancing the squared serif logic with smooth bowls. The serif treatment is consistent across upper- and lowercase, helping mixed-case settings maintain a cohesive, emphatic texture.
