A heavy, high-contrast text face with bracketed serifs and a firm vertical axis. Strokes transition sharply between thick stems and finer joins, with sturdy, rectangular serifs and clear, open interior counters that keep the forms readable at display sizes. Proportions are slightly condensed-to-regular with assertive capitals, while the lowercase shows a traditional two-storey a and g, compact apertures, and a rhythmic, print-like texture. Numerals are robust and old-style in feel, with noticeable weight concentration on verticals and neatly finished terminals.

Well suited to headlines, subheads, and short blocks of text where a bold, classic voice is needed. It would perform effectively in editorial layouts, book or magazine titling, packaging, and branding that benefits from a strong, traditional typographic stamp.

The overall tone is confident and traditional, with a strong editorial presence. Its weight and contrast lend it a decisive, headline-ready voice that still feels grounded in book and newspaper typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic print sensibility with modern clarity: high contrast and sturdy serifs for authority, paired with open counters and disciplined spacing for legibility in prominent settings.

The shapes maintain a consistent, disciplined rhythm across the alphabet, and the heavy weight is balanced by relatively generous counters to prevent the line from closing up. Spacing appears even in the sample, producing a dense but controlled color suitable for emphatic settings.
