A distressed, serifed letterform with sharply tapered strokes and pronounced contrast, rendered with irregular, worn edges and occasional interior bite marks that mimic rough inking or aged printing. Serifs are wedge-like and slightly flared, with many terminals ending in pointed, chiseled shapes. Curves show subtle wobble and uneven texture, producing a lively rhythm across words while maintaining a generally upright stance. Counters remain fairly open in most letters, but the distressed treatment creates dark pockets and small notches that add density, especially in heavier curves and joins.

Best suited to display typography where the distressed texture can be appreciated—posters, headlines, title cards, book covers, and thematic packaging or labels. It can work for short paragraphs in larger sizes when a vintage, weathered voice is desired, but will be most effective when used sparingly for emphasis.

The overall tone feels antique and theatrical, evoking old broadsides, folklore titles, and printed ephemera. Its roughened finish adds a tactile, handmade character that reads as timeworn and slightly ominous rather than clean or modern.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif structure with an intentionally worn, rough-printed surface, delivering a period-flavored look with added grit and character. It aims to provide strong, legible silhouettes for titles while supplying enough irregular detail to communicate age, texture, and atmosphere.

Capital forms are bold and emblematic, with strong silhouettes that hold up well at larger sizes, while the lowercase shows more uneven texture and a more conversational rhythm. Numerals follow the same distressed logic, with expressive curves and pointed terminals that pair well with display settings. In longer passages the texture becomes a dominant visual feature, so spacing and size choices will strongly affect readability.
