This typeface is a display-oriented serif with strong thick–thin modulation and crisp, bracketed serifs that flare into wedge-like terminals. Round forms (O, C, o, e) show pronounced contrast with relatively tight inner counters, while vertical stems stay dominant and steady. Many terminals finish in teardrop/ball shapes and sharp points, giving the outlines a slightly calligraphic, ink-trap-like bite in places (notably in S, g, and j). Lowercase forms are compact and weighty with a sturdy, two-storey g and a single-storey a; numerals are similarly bold and sculpted, with high contrast and prominent, tapered finishing strokes.

Best suited to headlines, decks, and short blocks of text where its contrast and sculpted terminals can be appreciated. It can work well for editorial titling, book or album covers, premium branding, and dramatic poster typography, especially when paired with a restrained secondary text face.

The overall tone is confident and ceremonial, combining traditional bookish cues with a theatrical, high-drama presence. It reads as polished and authoritative, with enough ornament in the terminals to feel expressive rather than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to modernize a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and decorative terminal details, creating a classic-yet-theatrical voice for display typography. Its forms prioritize presence and character while keeping familiar serif structures for readability in larger settings.

The spacing and rhythm look intentionally dense for impact, and the pointed joins and flared serifs create strong horizontal accents across words. Distinctive ball terminals and sweeping tails (especially in Q and y) add personality that becomes more apparent at headline sizes.
