This typeface is built from tall, blocky forms with sharply chamfered corners and many octagonal counters, giving the alphabet a cut-from-metal look. Strokes are predominantly vertical and heavy, with thin internal cuts and hairline-like joins creating a strong light–dark rhythm. Curves are minimized or squared off, and terminals tend to end in crisp facets rather than rounds. The lowercase follows the same architectural logic, with narrow bowls, compact apertures, and upright construction that keeps word shapes tight and vertical.

It performs best in short, high-impact settings such as headlines, posters, mastheads, logotypes, and bold packaging. The strong vertical rhythm and faceted detailing also suit signage or branding where a historic-industrial or gothic atmosphere is desired. For longer text, generous size and spacing help preserve the internal cuts and counters.

The overall tone feels gothic and ceremonial, like signage for institutions, clubs, or themed events. Its hard angles and deep blacks project authority and drama, leaning historic without becoming ornate. The texture is dense and commanding, suited to statements rather than subtlety.

The design appears intended to translate blackletter-inspired angularity into a simplified, sans-like display construction, prioritizing solidity, vertical emphasis, and a dramatic silhouette. Its consistent chamfering and octagonal counters suggest a goal of creating a cohesive, emblematic texture that stands out at large sizes.

Capitals read especially strong due to their uniform height and rigid geometry, while some letters introduce distinctive notches and internal slits that can become a defining texture at larger sizes. Numerals share the same faceted construction, maintaining a consistent, emblematic presence across display settings.
