A heavy, bracketed slab-serif with compact, blocky proportions and clear stroke modulation. Serifs are wide and squared with soft bracketing, giving joins a carved, print-like feel rather than a purely geometric slab. Curves are full and slightly condensed in places, with noticeable flare and beak-like terminals on forms such as C, G, and S; the lowercase shows a single-storey a and g, a pronounced ear on g, and a curved, descending tail on y. Numerals are robust and characterful, including a curled 2 and open, rounded bowls on 6/9, reinforcing a strong, display-forward rhythm.

Best suited to headlines and short text where its strong slabs and distinctive terminals can carry a page. It works well for posters, packaging, labels, and heritage-flavored branding, and can also serve in signage or logotypes that need a sturdy, classic voice. In longer passages it reads most comfortably at larger sizes with generous spacing.

The overall tone is confident and traditional, evoking turn-of-the-century posters, wood-type vernacular, and American workwear signage. Its chunky slabs and high-ink presence feel dependable and assertive, while the slightly calligraphic modulation and lively terminals add a warm, vintage charm.

The font appears intended to reinterpret classic slab-serif and wood-type traditions for modern display use, combining sturdy construction with lively, historical detailing. Its goal is to deliver high impact and a recognizable vintage tone while keeping letterforms consistent enough for set text in short blocks.

Counters are relatively tight at display sizes, and the letterfit appears slightly varied, which enhances a hand-set, poster-like texture in paragraphs. The design maintains consistent slab weight across capitals and lowercase, with occasional ink-trap-like notches and softened interior corners that help keep shapes open in dense settings.
