A compact serif with pronounced flaring at stroke ends and strongly bracketed, wedge-like serifs. Stems show gentle modulation and end in soft, triangular or teardrop terminals, giving corners a rounded, carved feel rather than crisp mechanical cuts. Uppercase forms are sturdy and slightly condensed, with broad curves and tapered joins; the lowercase keeps a conventional structure with a modest x-height and clearly differentiated shapes. Numerals are robust and text-forward, matching the same flared rhythm and slightly oldstyle-influenced proportions.

Best suited to display typography where personality and presence matter—headlines, book and album covers, posters, and brand marks that want a vintage or literary flavor. It can also work for short paragraphs or pull quotes at comfortable sizes where its dense color and flared detailing remain clear.

The tone mixes classic bookish authority with a lightly theatrical, storybook charm. Its flared strokes and sculpted serifs evoke historical printing and hand-drawn sign traditions, reading as warm and characterful rather than strictly formal.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional serif construction through flared, calligraphic endings, delivering a compact, high-impact texture with a crafted, slightly ornamental finish for expressive editorial and branding use.

Across both cases the serif treatment is consistent: terminals widen smoothly and then resolve into pointed, wedge-like ends, creating a steady vertical rhythm. The face maintains strong color in text, with counters kept open enough for display lines while still feeling dense and emphatic.
