A very heavy, high-contrast serif with compact counters and sculpted, wedge-like terminals. Serifs are strongly bracketed and often flare into sharp points, giving strokes a carved, chiseled feel rather than a flat slab. Curves show pronounced thick–thin modulation and several letters feature ball terminals and teardrop-like joins. The rhythm is slightly irregular in a deliberate way—wide rounds and sturdy verticals create a dense, punchy texture that reads as display-oriented, especially in the lowercase where the forms feel lively and hand-shaped.

Best suited to headlines and short passages where its dense color and dramatic contrast can work at larger sizes. It fits well in editorial settings such as magazine mastheads, book covers, posters, and prominent pull quotes, where a traditional yet expressive serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is classic and authoritative, with a theatrical, old-style gravitas. Its bold presence and sharp terminals suggest a traditional, print-forward personality—confident, slightly ornamental, and attention commanding.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with added display punch—combining sturdy, readable letterforms with expressive terminals and strong contrast to create impact and a distinctive, classic tone.

Uppercase forms lean monumental and stable, while the lowercase introduces more personality through rounded terminals and more pronounced stroke shaping. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, flared construction, matching the font’s strong, editorial color in text blocks.
