This typeface is a sharp, decorative serif built from bold, continuous strokes that are repeatedly carved by triangular cut-ins and tapering terminals. Serifs and joins feel incised rather than bracketed, with wedge-like apertures and pointed internal corners that create a distinctive stencil-like rhythm without breaking the main stroke. Curves are clean and fairly geometric, while many letters show deliberate asymmetry and angled shears at the ends, producing a crisp, faceted silhouette. Lowercase forms are compact and sturdy, with a single-storey a and g, a narrow, slightly calligraphic t, and distinctive ball-like dots on i and j; figures carry the same cut-in motif, giving numerals a sculpted, engraved look.

Best suited to display settings where its carved details can read clearly—headlines, fashion/editorial layouts, posters, title treatments, and brand marks. It can also work for premium packaging and invitations when used at larger sizes with restrained copy length.

The overall tone is elegant but confrontational: polished, high-style letterforms paired with knife-edge details that add tension and drama. It suggests couture editorial typography, modern gothic display, and a sense of crafted luxury—more art-directed than neutral.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic serif framework through chiseled, notched terminals and incised joins, creating a bespoke, art-directed texture that stands out in high-contrast visual environments without relying on extreme stroke contrast.

The repeated triangular “bites” introduce bright counters and sparkling negative space, so the texture becomes more animated as sizes increase. In longer lines the sharp cut-ins can visually compete with spacing, so careful tracking and generous leading help preserve clarity.
