A sharply contrasted serif with pronounced flaring at stroke endings, giving many terminals a sculpted, wedge-like finish. The design pairs heavy verticals with very thin connecting strokes and crisp, triangular serifs, creating a rhythmic pattern of thick-and-thin throughout. Counters are relatively compact in places and the apertures can feel tight at smaller sizes, while the rounded letters show a glossy, almost engraved tension between thick bowls and hairline joins.

Best suited for display typography such as magazine headlines, fashion and culture branding, posters, and striking pull quotes. It can also work for logotypes and packaging where a bold, high-contrast serif voice is desired. For longer passages, it will perform most comfortably at larger sizes with generous spacing to preserve the delicate hairlines and tight interior shapes.

This typeface projects a confident, theatrical tone with a distinctly editorial attitude. Its dramatic weight and crisp contrasts feel assertive and attention-seeking, lending a sense of luxury and stylized sophistication. The overall voice is bold and declarative rather than neutral, suited to messaging that wants to sound strong and cultivated.

The letterforms appear designed to maximize visual drama through extreme contrast and flared, chiseled endings, creating a distinctive silhouette at display sizes. Its construction prioritizes personality and rhythm over neutrality, aiming for a recognizable, high-impact texture in lines of text and short phrases.

Diagonal joins and thin connectors create sharp internal tension, especially in letters with strong curves, and the numerals share the same sculpted, high-contrast logic. The overall line texture is dark and compact, producing a strong typographic “color” that dominates a layout when set in paragraphs.
